QFA Announces Free Entry For Qatar-Russia Football Friendly
Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced that fans will be allowed to attend the Qatar-Russia friendly on September 7 free of charge.
“Welcome, to Jassim bin Hamad Stadium. Entry is free, #AlAnnabi waiting for you,” said QFA in a social media post. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 6:15pm Doha time.
QFA announced last month that, as part of their final preparations for the crucial FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian play-offs in October, Qatar will host friendly matches against Bahrain and Russia.
The Qatar-Bahrain friendly, which was played on Wednesday behind closed doors, ended in a 2-2 draw.
Qatar were drawn in Group A for the World Cup play-offs and will host Oman on October 8 and the United Arab Emirates on October 14 at Doha's Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
