The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the incursion of the extremist Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich into the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as his hostile and racist statements regarding the annexation of the occupied West Bank, the prevention of a Palestinian state, and threats against the Palestinian National Authority. The ministry described these acts as a blatant violation of international law, a serious escalation that is unacceptable, and a challenge to the international will supporting a two-state solution, stressing that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories.

Ministry spokesperson Fouad Al-Majali emphasized the Kingdom's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of these incursions and the continuous provocative and hostile statements by extremists within the Israeli government. He noted that the lack of international accountability and impunity fuels the continuation of such aggressive measures and statements against the Palestinian people and their leadership.

Al-Majali stated that these statements and the illusions promoted by the Israeli Finance Minister, alongside the ongoing war in Gaza and continuous aggression against the Palestinian people, will neither undermine the rights of the Palestinian people nor alter the truth that the occupation is the root cause of the conflict and the source of tension and instability in the region. What the extremists of the Israeli government seek is to entrench the occupation, illegal colonial settlements, and enforce policies of forced displacement in the occupied Palestinian territories, in flagrant violation of international law and UN Security Council resolutions-particularly Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli measures aimed at altering the demographic composition, character, and status of the occupied Palestinian territories since 1967, including East Jerusalem-as well as the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice affirming the necessity of ending the Israeli occupation and the illegality of annexing occupied Palestinian lands.

Al-Majali warned against the continuation of the Israeli government's unilateral and illegal measures, as well as the racist statements of Israeli officials aimed at imposing new realities by force, continuing expansionist plans in the occupied West Bank, and escalating tensions in the region. Such actions encourage ongoing cycles of violence and conflict, threatening the security and stability of the entire region.

Al-Majali reiterated the Kingdom's absolute rejection of illegal settlement and displacement policies, affirming that the only way to achieve security and stability in the region is by ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty on the 4 June 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

He called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel and its extremist government to cease their aggression against Gaza, halt the dangerous escalation in the occupied West Bank, stop their officials' inciting statements, provide necessary protection for the Palestinian people, ensure their legitimate rights to establish an independent sovereign state on their national land, and hold perpetrators of crimes against them accountable.
