Trump Says China, Russia, N. Korea Plot Collusion Against U.S.
(MENAFN) U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday accused the leaders of China, Russia, and North Korea of working together to undermine the United States, as Beijing unveiled its most extensive military parade to date.
Taking to his own platform on Truth Social, Trump wrote: "The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and ‘blood’ that The United States of America gave to China in order to help it secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader."
He pointed to the high number of American casualties during China's World War II struggle and said he hoped their courage and sacrifice would be "rightfully Honored and Remembered."
In a sharply worded closing line, Trump added: "May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration. Please give my warmest regards to (Russian President) Vladimir Putin, and (North Korean leader) Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America."
The remarks came as Chinese President Xi Jinping presided over an elaborate military spectacle in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, commemorating China’s resistance against Japanese occupation during World War II.
The parade featured a robust display of China's next-generation military arsenal, including advanced unmanned systems, cyberwarfare capabilities, electronic warfare assets, underwater combat platforms, and hypersonic missiles—all domestically developed. The event opened with a ceremonial gun salute and included aerial formations, armored units, and precision marching columns.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, joined by First Lady Peng Liyuan, received visiting foreign dignitaries and used his address to underscore the urgency of global peace and collaboration. He cautioned against the growing threat of conflict and called on world leaders to address the underlying drivers of war in order to prevent a repeat of past global crises.
Notable figures in attendance included Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Myanmar junta chief Min Aung Hlaing, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
This year’s event marked the first major military parade commemorating China’s World War II victory since 2015.
