Amman, Sep. 3 (Petra) -- Moderate summer conditions will prevail across the Kingdom on Wednesday, while hot weather will persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-altitude clouds are expected in northern areas, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds that may become occasionally active, particularly in desert regions.
This stable summer pattern is forecast to continue through Saturday, maintaining mild temperatures in most regions, while areas such as the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain hot and dry. Winds will generally be northwesterly and moderate, with occasional gusts during the afternoon and evening hours.
Temperature forecasts for Wednesday indicate highs of 30 C and lows of 19 C in East Amman, and 28 C / 17 C in West Amman. The Northern Highlands are expected to see 26 C during the day and 16 C overnight, while the Sharah Highlands will register 27 C / 15 C. In desert regions, daytime temperatures will reach 35 C, cooling to 18 C at night.
The plains will remain steady at 30 C / 20 C, while the Northern Jordan Valley will record highs of 37 C and lows of 24 C. The Southern Jordan Valley is forecast to be hotter, with highs of 39 C and lows of 27 C. The Dead Sea area will experience 38 C during the day and 25 C at night, and Aqaba will remain similarly warm with 39 C highs and 26 C lows.
