Kuwait Bags 37 Medals At West Asia Fencing Championship

MANAMA, Sept 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's national fencing team U-15 collected on Tuesday 16 medals in the fourth day of the West Asia Fencing Championship, currently hosted by Bahrain.
Today's tally raised the total medals snatched by Kuwaiti athletes to 37 in the contest, which will run until September 4, with the participation of 310 athletes from 10 countries.
Male team's Khaled Al-Hawli, Ghazi Al-Enzi, Yusuf Al-Shammari and Hussein Al-Hashmi gained four silver in the Epee contest.
While, Suhaila Al-Nakkas, Habari Al-Thuwaini, Sheikha Al-Butti and Fatmah Mohammad won four silver more in the same category.
In the Foil, Nour Al-Najjar, Zeina Al-Omair, Sofia Al-Qattan and Sheikha Al-Migelhim came second, winning four additional silver.
Finally, Bader Al-Saleh, Abdurrahman Al-Sabti, Abdullah Al-Rashidi and Ahmad Jaber won four bronze in the Foil game. (end)
