Floods take lives of thirty-one people in Pakistan

(MENAFN) Severe rain-related incidents across Pakistan have claimed 31 lives and left 26 others injured over the past two days, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reported on Monday.

Punjab province in the east was the hardest hit, with 25 fatalities, including eight children and two women. Four deaths occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one child died in Balochistan, and one casualty was reported in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

Authorities warned that continued rainfall in the coming days could raise the risk of flooding and landslides, and they are closely monitoring the situation as weather conditions remain unstable.
