Aniello Iannone

Aniello Iannone is an Indonesianist and seasoned political scientist and expert in Southeast Asian political and international relations, with a special focus on Indonesia and ASEAN regionalism. Currently a lecturer at Diponegoro University in Indonesia, he brings a depth of expertise to topics such as conflict analysis, political ethics, and civil society dynamics in Southeast Asia. His work covers Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the broader ASEAN region, reflecting his extensive knowledge of these nations' unique political and economic landscapes.

Aniello is also pursuing his Ph.D. at Airlangga University, focusing on economic policies between Indonesia and Taiwan. As a Research Fellow at Geopolitica, he applies his expertise to analyze Indo-Pacific geopolitics, offering critical insights into ASEAN's strategic positioning. Through his academic, research, and published contributions, he provides a nuanced understanding of Southeast Asia's role in shaping today's global political landscape
