Elite Force Commando Martyred In Bannu As Terrorist Attacks Intensify

In Bannu's Cantt police station jurisdiction, unidentified terrorists opened fire on an Elite Force commando, Shah Riaz Shah, martyring him on the spot.

According to the police report, the martyred officer had completed his duty and was traveling to his village, Mamash Khel, on a motorcycle from the police lines when terrorists ambushed him near Gul Zaman Mosque on Bannu-Miran Shah Road. The attackers managed to flee the scene after the shooting.

This incident follows a recent attack in the Hovid police station area, where unidentified terrorists targeted the homes of policemen Javed and Rafid. Rafid was martyred in the assault, and Javed's son was abducted.

Police have issued a warning on social media, urging terrorists to leave the area immediately, warning of strict action against militants and their facilitators if they fail to comply.

Meanwhile, authorities claim to have demolished multiple houses belonging to terrorists and their facilitators, along with killing several militants in ongoing operations.

Just last night, unidentified assailants also launched a hand grenade attack on the Domail police station, though fortunately, no casualties were reported.
