Profile Articles Activity

I am a doctoral researcher at the UTS Business School, University of Technology Sydney, focusing on the adoption of real-time payments (RTP). My research builds on more than 15 years of international leadership experience in payments and financial services across India, China, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, giving me a comparative perspective on regulation, consumer behaviour and platform scalability in both emerging and mature markets.

I hold a Master's in Business Economics and a First-Class Bachelor's in Commerce from the University of Delhi. My contributions to global payment systems and fintech innovation have been recognised through the award of the Australian National Innovation Visa (Subclass 858) and the UK Global Talent Visa, both granting permanent residency.

My current work bridges industry practice with academic theory, combining insights from regulation, platform economics and behavioural science to explain and accelerate RTP adoption. More broadly, my aim is to generate actionable knowledge that enables policymakers, financial institutions and technology providers to design inclusive, scalable and trusted next-generation payment infrastructures.
