Air Defense Forces Destroy 74 Of 95 Russian Drones

Starting at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, the Russians attacked with 95 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of dummy drones from the areas of Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, Air Defense Forces shot down/neutralized 74 Shahed-type UAVs and various types of drone simulators in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.

Twenty-one UAVs were recorded hitting nine locations.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of August 27, as a result of a massive attack by Russian drones in the Sumy community, the infrastructure was damaged .

In the morning, part of Sumy remains without electricit y.
