Qatar Anti-Doping Commission Launches 'Leaders' Programme

Doha, Qatar: Qatar Anti-Doping Commission announced the launch of its new awareness programme“Leaders”, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote fair play and strengthen the values of integrity within Qatar's sporting community.
Leaders programme targets young and talented athletes, with its first activities launched in collaboration with the Athletes' Commission of the Qatar Olympic Committee. The programme will later be rolled out across clubs and various sports bodies.
It adds a new dimension to the Commission's educational initiatives under its“Play It Right” campaign, which includes pioneering programmes such as the“Role Model” programme for international and local athletes, Sanad“Support” for support staff, and the Summer of Values initiative, which engaged children through summer camps.
Commenting on the launch, Director of Education and Research Department at the Qatar Anti-Doping Commission, Sheikha Ahmed Manna Al Jaal, said the programme seeks to prepare a generation of conscious and responsible athletes, capable of spreading a culture of integrity both on and off the field, and driving positive change in sports.
