The BIBF Celebrates the Graduation of the First Cohort of the Sales Graduate Development Programme in Collaboration with Tamkeen


(MENAFN- BIBF Leading Excellence ) Manama, 19 August 2025 – The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), the leading training and development provider in the region, celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of its Sales Graduate Development Programme, during a special ceremony held at its premises.
This programme, developed in collaboration with the Labour Fund "Tamkeen", is designed to equip fresh Bahraini graduates with the practical skills and hands-on experience needed to enter and excel in the sales sector - one of the most dynamic and competitive fields in today’s business landscape.
Over a six-month period, participants received intensive training covering key areas such as communication and customer service, digital tools, and sales pitching techniques. The programme also included hands-on training in real work environments across various institutions in the Kingdom, helping enhance participants’ readiness for the job market.
The graduation ceremony featured individual sales pitch presentations delivered by the participants before a panel of expert judges, who evaluated the presentations based on clarity, persuasiveness, and the application of skills gained during the programme. The event also included the recognition of all programme participants and the awarding of prizes to the top three presenters.
On this occasion, Mr. Khalid Al Bayat, Chief Growth Officer at the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”, praised the outcomes achieved by the program, which contributed to empowering Bahraini talent by providing them with the professional skills that helped them secure employment opportunities at leading institutions within the Kingdom. He emphasized that such initiatives represent a genuine step towards building a national workforce capable of competing and excelling. He also expressed Tamkeen’s commitment to supporting and developing Bahraini talent by equipping them with the skills required in the labor market.
Ms. Anood Abbas, Head of the Leadership & Management Centre at the BIBF, expressed her pleasure with the achievements of this cohort, noting that a number of participants have secured full-time employment with leading institutions in the Kingdom – a testament to the programme’s practical impact and effectiveness in preparing Bahraini youth for the workforce. She also praised the vital role played by Labour Fund “Tamkeen” in supporting this impactful initiative that directly addresses market needs and equips graduates with the tools necessary to excel and succeed.
The partnership between Tamkeen and BIBF aligns with Tamkeen’s strategic priorities for 2025, which focus on enhancing the position and competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector, equipping Bahrainis with suitable skills for career development in the private sector, and prioritizing enterprise growth, digitization, and sustainability.
