Widow Files Wrongful Death And Dram Shop Lawsuit After Bar Employee Killed On The Job By Intoxicated Patron

(MENAFN- PR Newswire) According to the complaint, on August 1, 2025 , Nava was performing his duties as an employee of the bar, taking out the trash , when he was violently struck and killed in the parking lot by Saenz, a patron who had just left the bar after being over-served alcohol, despite being obviously intoxicated . Video evidence shows Saenz recklessly driving through the lot, running over Nava, and fatally crushing him against a cinderblock wall.

Mrs. Rodriguez seeks damages for loss of financial support, loss of companionship, mental anguish, funeral and burial expenses, and exemplary damages to punish and deter such egregious conduct.
