Dubai: Now You Can Pay For On-Street, Off-Street Parking Through Salik

Dubai will roll out autonomous and AI-powered on-street and off-street parking across major communities, covering 36,000 parking spaces.

Parkonic, a smart parking solutions provider, and Salik Company have signed an agreement with Dubai Holding to roll out this AI service, allowing motorists instant, cashless, and automatic payment capabilities.

The companies said this will allow car owners to frictionlessly exit and deliver a“zero-interaction customer experience.”

The companies said it is part of Dubai's Smart City 2030 and Future Mobility Vision, and this collaboration brings to life a ticketless and barrier-free parking solution without manual inspection.

The project is aimed at reducing congestion, cutting carbon emissions, and directly supporting Dubai's Net Zero goals.

Dubai Holding Community Management – a subsidiary of Dubai Holding – has around 1.2 million residents living across 58 master communities. It oversees more than 381 jointly owned properties and 88,000 individual homes. It manages a total residential area of 1.35 billion square feet.
