Six Injured, Including Two Children, As Fire Breaks Out At Lviv Hotel
The fire covered an area of about 300 square meters. All hotel guests and staff were evacuated.
"There are six reported injuries, including two children. All have been hospitalized at the First Medical Association," the statement said.
The victims suffered minor injuries and are in stable condition. Emergency services remain on-site, and the cause of the fire is being determined.
The city council added that one man sustained serious burns, with a preliminary report indicating an explosion in his room. The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.

Earlier, Vitalii Turovtsev, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service (SES) in the Lviv region, told Suspilne that fire crews began evacuating people from the upper floors as soon as the blaze broke out.

According to Varta1 , many victims were transported by medics. On the eighth floor, people were seen on balconies as the flames spread to neighboring rooms.
The SES later confirmed the fire likely started on the ninth floor. "Rescuers have evacuated 15 people from the building. Firefighting operations are still ongoing," their statement said.
