Atheyna Bylon Brings Gold To Panama As A Boxing Champion -


(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) Panamanian boxer Atheyna Bylon continues to prove she's a queen on the ring, and this time, in her first appearance since the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she won the gold medal in the 75kg category at the Ibagué 2025 Copa América.



Bylon defeated Australian Emma-Sue Greentree in the final by unanimous decision. The boxer is part of Panama's sporting history, having won the silver medal at the Paris Olympic Games on August 10, 2024. On that occasion, she lost in the final to China's Li Qian by a 4-1 decision as pictured below. Bylon, 36, has already said she will complete the cycle to defend her medal at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
