
MECC Conducts Extensive Cleanup Campaign, Removes Solid And Plastic Waste
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC), represented by the Wildlife Protection Department carried out an extensive cleanup campaign in the vicinity of the Abu Nakhla Complex.
A citizen complained about the presence of waste in the area and the Ministry responded by organizing a cleaning campaign.
The campaign resulted in the removal of quantities of solid and plastic waste.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of community members cooperation in reporting environmental violations.
The Ministry also urges individuals and companies to adhere to sound environmental practices which ensure the preservation of vegetation cover and the sustainability of natural resources.
