Egypt-Kuwait Ties Exemplary, Model For Arab Countries To Emulate -- Diplomat


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 3 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations are a pattern for joint Arab collaboration based on mutual respect, Egypt's Ambassador to Kuwait Osama Shaltout said on Thursday.
Shaltout made the statement during an embassy's celebration on the 73rd anniversary of the 1952 Revolution, in the presence of Kuwait's Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdul Latif Al-Mashari, and some officials and representatives of diplomatic missions in Kuwait.
He pointed to tangible development made in various domains and high-level visits topped with the state visit of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Egypt in April 2024, an essential step in the two countries' collaboration.
The revolution took place on July 23 has made a turning point in Egypt's modern history as it established the principles of national independence, sovereignty and inclusive renaissance, Shaltout noted.
The envoy elaborated that event also supported the national liberation in Africa and the Arab world.
The ambassador thanked Kuwait's government and people for good reception and hospitality during his tenure.
He affirmed Egypt's keenness on boosting collaboration with Kuwait in a way that serves the two brotherly peoples' interest. (end)
