Doha, Qatar: The residents of Qatar, representing different nationalities, expressed full confidence in Qatar's peace and safety, noting that they never felt insecure in Qatar even during the recent scenario of regional tensions.
The Peninsula, leading online media in Qatar, recently created a video in which we asked people across society to share their personal experiences of living in the country. The video garnered a huge number of views, likes and comments across social media platforms. It saw massive engagement, especially on Facebook, and comments poured in appreciating Qatar's safety, security and welcoming environment.
Everyone, from newly arrived residents to those who have been staying here for decades, was unanimous in their praise of their host country, reinforced Qatar's image as a stable and secure place for all and vowed it is their home away from home.
The participants in the campaign commended the Qatari authorities for ensuring the well-being of all citizens and residents. They also lauded the country's effective diplomacy in promoting peace and conflict resolution across the Arab region, the Middle East, and globally.
Anniebeth Sayosa shared in the comment section,“I've been here since 2004, and if my entire family and I could live here for the rest of our lives, we absolutely would. We love Qatar - it's our home away from home.”
