Arab League Decries Extremist Israeli Remarks On Annexing West Bank

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, July 2 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmad Aboul-Gheit deplored as "dangerous", on Wednesday, the Israeli statements on annexing the West Bank.
In a statement, Aboul-Gheit said these remarks by Minister of Justice in the Israeli occupation forces show a dangerous policy, affirming the occupation violates international law.
Annexing the occupied West Bank is one of the far-wing extremist goals, he said, urging the international community to take action against this policy, which fuels situation in the region.
The West Bank is an occupied Palestinian land, in accordance with international law and the United Nations resolutions, along the positions of world's countries, he noted.
He termed this step as a political "bullying". (end)
