
Work On 2 Projects Launched In Jalalabad
JALALAABAD (Pajhwok): Construction work was launched on Wednesday on two projects worth 18 million afghanis in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province.
Deputy Mayor of Jalalabad, Maulvi Mohammad Ishaq Saeed, told a gathering in this regard that thee projects included paving a one and a half kilometer road and construction of retaining walls.
The two projects will cost 18 million afghanis and will also provide employment opportunities to dozens of people, he added.
Saeed said that efforts were underway to implement such projects in other parts of the city to facilitate people's movement and reduce unemployment.
