Training Aircraft Crash Claims Two Lives in Brazil


(MENAFN) A small training aircraft crashed in the southeastern region of Brazil’s Sao Paulo state on Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of both individuals aboard, according to the fire department.

The plane, which had taken off from a local airport, plunged into a remote area of Sao Jose do Rio Preto city.

A Brazilian news outlet reported that, citing a fire department statement, the two people aboard the aircraft, which was primarily used for pilot training, were confirmed dead following the incident.

Authorities, including local police and the Brazilian Air Force's Aeronautical Accidents Investigation and Prevention Center, have launched an investigation into the crash’s cause.
