QCA To Kick Start Summer Programme On July 6
Doha: The Qatar Chess Association (QCA) yesterday announced details of the 2025 Summer Program, which will be held at the training center from July 6 to 31.
QCA said that the summer activities program, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will be spread over four weeks.
It aims to teach the basics of chess and develop participants' strategic thinking skills as part of its efforts to expand participation in the game, discover talent, attract more players to join the center, and develop plans to develop their abilities and hone their skills.
The program will begin on July 6 and continue until the end of the month.
Activities will begin daily at 10am and continue until 12:30pm for ages 6 to 12.
QCA has included a number of activities on the summer program agenda, including cultural, awareness, and entertainment workshops, in cooperation with various government agencies and institutions, including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Qatar Scientific Club, the Qatar Red Crescent, and the Friends of the Environment Center.
