Due to the unusual nature of the case, District Police Officer (DPO) Jehlum Tariq Aziz Sindhu directed his team to investigate homes with residents who had recently returned from Dubai.
The police discovered that four individuals from the area had been working in Dubai. One of them was currently visiting Pakistan to meet family.
When summoned, the man admitted he had the AirPods but claimed he had purchased them from an Indian national in Dubai, unaware that they were stolen.
Accepting his explanation, the police took possession of the AirPods and contacted Lord Miles, offering him the option to either collect them personally or have them mailed to him.
