Tragic Multi-Vehicle Collision in Texas Claims Five Lives

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported the chain reaction began when a truck-tractor operator fell asleep at the wheel, striking a Ford F-150 carrying five passengers. Following the initial impact, the truck-tractor collided with two additional 18-wheelers. One of those trucks jackknifed, crashing into three more vehicles.
The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department indicated that at least one injured person remains in critical condition.
This catastrophic crash forced the complete closure of Interstate 20 and prompted an urgent emergency response involving multiple agencies.
