FUJIFILM And Sonomed Healthcare Group Announce Strategic Partnership
The collaboration was formally announced at a press conference in Istanbul, where FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation President and CEO, Mr. Teiichi Goto, and Sonomed Healthcare Group Chairman, Dr. Serdar Mutlu, shared details of the partnership with the public.
First in Turkey: FUJIFILM's Oasis Velocity 1.2T Open MRI SystemA key highlight of the partnership is the installation of FUJIFILM's Oasis Velocity 1.2 Tesla Open MRI System at Sonomed's new facility, marking the first deployment of this next-generation technology in Turkey. The initiative aims to expand access to cutting-edge imaging solutions and transform diagnostic services nationwide.
“To maintain our commitment to high-quality, reliable care at global standards, we are proud to partner with FUJIFILM Healthcare,” said Dr. Serdar Mutlu.“Introducing AI-powered systems like the 1.2T Open MRI will elevate Turkey's imaging capabilities and patient comfort.”
Sonomed is notably the first private healthcare provider in Turkey to receive accreditation from the Global Certification Institute (GCI) in medical imaging, reinforcing its commitment to clinical excellence.

Next-Generation Diagnostics Powered by AIIn addition to the Open MRI system, the partnership will bring a suite of FUJIFILM's advanced diagnostic devices to Sonomed, including:
- Digital mammography systems CT scanners Bone densitometry units Digital radiography equipment
Specially designed to accommodate patients with claustrophobia, as well as elderly, pediatric, and obese individuals, the Oasis Velocity system enhances diagnostic comfort without compromising image quality. Integrated AI-powered algorithms will also help accelerate diagnostics and improve accuracy, establishing a new benchmark for healthcare innovation in the region.
