Amman, June 18 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and Algeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf on Wednesday called for an immediate end to the dangerous escalation in the region, triggered by Israeli aggression against Iran.
In a phone call, the two top diplomats condemned the Israeli strikes as a violation of international law and a grave provocation that risks plunging the region into deeper conflict. Both Jordan and Algeria denounced the aggression and warned of its catastrophic consequences.
Safadi and Attaf stressed the urgent need to de-escalate tensions and revive negotiations to reach an agreement on Iran's nuclear file, emphasizing that diplomacy remains the only viable path to regional stability.
