Ongoing Israeli Airstrikes On Gaza Leave 29 Palestinians Dead
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Twenty-nine Palestinians were killed, most of them at aid distribution points, and dozens were injured in the Israeli occupation forces' bombardment of several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn Thursday.
Medical sources said that two citizens were killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted the Batn Al Sameen area, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. A woman and her child were also killed in a bombardment that targeted the town of Abasan Al Kabira, east of the city. Three others were killed in a bombardment that targeted the tents of displaced people in Mawasi Al Qarara, west of the city, and two others were killed by Israeli occupation forces' fire in the same area.
In Rafah, two citizens were killed by Israeli army fire near the aid center in the Shakoush area, northwest of the city, and another citizen was killed in shelling targeting Jabalia camp.
Medical sources announced this morning that the number of martyrs at the aid distribution center in the Netzarim area in the central Gaza Strip and the Al Sudania area had risen to 18, with more than 200 others injured in Israeli shelling and direct gunfire targeting crowds of citizens waiting for aid to arrive.
224 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,858 injured since May 27 in areas designated for aid distribution, as a result of Israeli attacks aimed at preventing them from obtaining the available food supplies that would guarantee their survival. (
