Militant Attack On Security Post In Upper Kurram Leaves One Martyred, Seven Injured

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) A security personnel was martyred and seven others injured when militants launched an armed assault on a military post in the Upper Kurram district near the Pak-Afghan border, security sources confirmed on Thursday.

According to details, the attack targeted the Hussain Mela post of Unit 155 Wing, located in the mountainous region of Shalozan near Hussain Qala. Militants opened fire on the checkpoint, prompting an immediate response from the stationed forces.
