
National Institute Of Building Sciences Announces New Board Directors And Board Officers
WASHINGTON, June 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Institute of Building Sciences is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has recently elected four new Directors and the 2026 Board Officers. These distinguished leaders bring invaluable expertise and vision to the organization, further strengthening its mission to advance the built environment for the public interest.
Joining the Board are:

Derrick Harmon – Director, Technology & Digital, Disney Experiences
Amy Marks – Senior Vice President, Compass Datacenters
Dominic Sims – President, Jupiter Advisory Group and Former Chief Executive Officer, International Code Council
Robert Swain – Adjunct Professor, Department of Engineering and Program Management, The Citadel

"To lead, America must build smarter and stronger. Our Board of Directors provides guidance and governance for NIBS to meet our Congressionally chartered mission to ensure that our nation continuously advances building innovation to safeguard, enable, and empower individuals, families, businesses, and communities across the country."
The newly appointed Directors will serve a three-year term beginning October 1, 2025, working alongside existing Board members to drive innovation in building safety, sustainability, and resilience nationwide.
