On May 28, 2025, Photronics issued a press release reporting its financial results for the second quarter of 2025. In the same press release, Photronics announced the resignation of Dr. Frank Lee from his role as the Company's Chief Executive Office, effective immediately.

On this news, Photronics' stock price fell $3.12 per share, or 15.55%, to close at $16.94 per share on May 28, 2025.
