Proactive Succession Planning: James Furlong to Retire as Head of Group Division Americas and Member of the Executive Committee of the Belimo Group

Sarah Bencic will succeed James Furlong as Head of Group Division Americas of BELIMO Holding AG, effective March 1, 2026.

The Board of Directors of BELIMO Holding AG has appointed Sarah Bencic (42) as a member of the Executive Committee, effective March 1, 2026. She will join Belimo on October 1, 2025, to ensure a smooth transition. James Furlong will continue to support Belimo as Senior Advisor.

Sarah Bencic has been working with Honeywell since 2021, most recently as General Manager Building Management Systems Americas, based in Atlanta, US. From 2014 to 2021, she held various executive positions in product management at 3M in the US. Prior to that, Sarah Bencic held a range of positions at Ingersoll Rand, US, in marketing, strategy, and business development.

Sarah Bencic holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Pennsylvania State University, State College, US, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, Cambridge, US.

With her extensive operational and strategic management experience across diverse industries in the US, Sarah Bencic brings not only the expertise to lead our fast-growing Americas division, but also a proven ability to cultivate organizational health and strengthen Belimo's culture of high employee engagement.
