UAE Golf Stars Shine: 2025 Pan Arab Championships In Egypt
The UAE is swinging into action for one of the region's most prestigious tournaments - the 2025 Ladies and Junior Pan Arab Golf Championships, taking place May 8–10 across the scenic Katameya Dunes and Madinaty Golf Club in Cairo.
Hosted by the Egyptian Golf Federation and sanctioned by the Arab Golf Federation, this high-stakes event promises fierce competition and showcases the rising stars of Arab golf.
Team UAE, under the banner of the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF), is sending nine of its brightest players to compete across four of the six divisions. This year's championship will feature talented contenders from 16 Arab nations, including Morocco, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and hosts Egypt - making it a true celebration of the sport's growing footprint in the region.
Poised for Podium Success
In the 16th Arab Ladies Championship, UAE will be represented by a strong trio: Intissar Rich, Sara Ali Abubaker, and Hannah Cheryl Alan - each bringing experience, precision, and competitive spirit.
In the 24th Arab Junior Championship, the spotlight turns to:
- Rashed Al Naqbi and Abdulla Kalbat in the U-18 Division
Abdulla Salmeen, Mohammed Tabet, and Abdulla Darwish in the U-16 Division
Flying solo in the 5th Arab U-13 Boys Championship, Zayed Ali Abubaker will represent the UAE as an individual - carrying the country's hopes in this fast-growing category.
All divisions will see countries field three-player teams, with the two best daily scores counting toward the final tally. Competitors in the U-13 divisions will play 36 holes, while the rest will contest 54, with both Individual and Team champions to be crowned.
