Microsoft Uncovers Groundbreaking Discovery AI Platform

(MENAFN) At its Build 2025 conference on Monday, tech giant Microsoft announced the launch of Microsoft Discovery, a groundbreaking new platform leveraging agentic artificial intelligence (AI) to "transform the discovery process."

Microsoft touts Discovery as an "extensible" platform capable of managing certain scientific workloads "end-to-end." In a press release, the company stated, "Microsoft Discovery is an enterprise agentic platform that helps accelerate research and discovery by transforming the entire discovery process with agentic AI -- from scientific knowledge reasoning to hypothesis formulation, candidate generation, and simulation and analysis."

The company further elaborated on the platform's capabilities, stating, "The platform enables scientists and researchers to collaborate with a team of specialized AI agents to help drive scientific outcomes with speed, scale, and accuracy using the latest innovations in AI and supercomputing."
