French Pres. Calls On Israeli Occupation To Reopen Crossings, Allow Aid Into Gaza

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) PARIS, May 7 (KUNA) -- French President Emmanuel Macron called on the Israeli occupation to reopen the crossings and allow the entry of humanitarian aid, describing the situation in Gaza as critical.
During a joint press conference Wednesday with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Macron said that the "forced displacement" of the Palestinian people planned by Israeli occupation is "an unacceptable".
The French president noted that it was unprecedented for a population to remain deprived of medical care for so long, unable to evacuate the wounded, and without food, medicine, or water. (end)
