New York: Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations H E Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani met with Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Inger Andersen, at the Permanent Mission's headquarters in New York.
The meeting focused on enhancing existing collaboration between the State of Qatar and UNEP, and the available opportunities within the framework of the Second Global Summit for Social Development, scheduled to take place in Doha this year, aiming to advance the implementation of shared priority goals.
