Qatar Reunites Two New Groups Of Children With Their Families In Russia And Ukraine

Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar announces the success of its mediation in reuniting two new groups of children in Ukraine and Russia with their families this March, as part of its ongoing efforts to reunite families separated by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Qatar's continued mediation efforts to reunite children with their families in Ukraine and Russia extend its longstanding approach to mediation and conflict resolution through peaceful means, in accordance with international law principles. These efforts also reflect Qatar's unwavering commitment to humanitarian principles and international solidarity.

The State of Qatar expresses its gratitude to Her Excellency Maria Lvova-Belova, the Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation, and His Excellency Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, for their tireless efforts that have led to the success of the family reunification operations.
