Mol Holds Workshops On Combating Human Trafficking
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour (MoL), represented by the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking (NCCHT), in collaboration with ILO and IOM, conducted awareness workshops targeting employees of entities involved in combating human trafficking crimes.
These workshops aimed to enhance understanding of the risks associated with human trafficking and forced labour, identify key indicators of such crimes, discuss reporting mechanisms, and review relevant national and international legislation. The workshops aligned with the Ministry's ongoing efforts to raise awareness about various forms of human trafficking, deepen comprehension of associated risks, and familiarise participants with national and international legal frameworks. Sessions focused on increasing awareness of different forms of human trafficking.
