Arab League Chief Condemns Israeli Aggression On Koya, Syria

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, March 26 (KUNA) -- Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit condemned on Wednesday the Israeli occupation aggression on the Syrian town of Koya in Daraa, south of the country, which left several casualties.
Abdul-Gheit said in a statement that the Arab League categorically denounced the Israeli occupation aggression against Syria, deeming it as a serious violation of the Arab country's sovereignty.
The UNSC must carrying on its role and put a halt to such Israeli unfathomable actions against Syria, forcing Tel Aviv to respect international law and the 1974 disengagement agreement, he added.
The world must put an end to this vile Israeli action, he affirmed, adding that the Arab League stood in solidarity with Syria and its people. (end)
