Army Receives Large Batch Of Ukraine-Made Mortars Amid Risk Of Production Freeze

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Ukrainian Armored Vehicles producer has fulfilled another order for the supply of MP-120 mortars to the Army in the wake of concerns about further production.

This was reported by Ukrinform, citing the company press service .

"Another large batch of MP-120 mortars has already been delivered to our military. Despite shelling and missile attacks, Ukrainian Armored Vehicles continues to produce mortars of all calibers, having significantly increased production capacity," the company noted.

The enterprise has been providing mortars to Ukraine's Defense Forces since 2019. Since the full-scale invasion, the Army has received several thousand mortars created by Ukrainian Armored Vehicles.

The company notes that the MP-120 has fully confirmed its reliability, adding that it sees high demand for its products at the front lines.

At the same time, the company's press service announces the possibility of suspending the production of mortars due to the lack of funding for long-term contracts concluded in accordance with the order of the President of Ukraine in the middle of 2024.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a number of infantry weapons has been accepted for service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
