As Kashmir welcomes its tourist season with the onset of spring, it is imperative that we emphasize the importance of public decency, no loitering, and environmental responsibility. The influx of tourists brings economic benefits, but it also poses challenges to our social and environmental fabric.
Littering, loitering, and disregard for public decency can mar the beauty of our scenic destinations and create an unpleasant experience for visitors. Moreover, the fragile ecosystem of our region demands careful attention to environmental conservation.
It is essential that we, as responsible citizens, take proactive measures to promote public decency and environmental responsibility. This can be achieved through awareness campaigns, community outreach programs, and collaborative efforts with local authorities.
I urge the administration to install signboards and public awareness messages at tourist hotspots, emphasizing the importance of maintaining public decency and protecting the environment. Additionally, community groups and local organizations can play a vital role in promoting responsible tourism practices.
By working together, we can ensure that Kashmir's tourist season is not only economically beneficial but also environmentally sustainable and socially responsible.
