Union-Busting Corporate Attorney Poses Serious Threat to Workers

WASHINGTON, March 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Brotherhood of Teamsters opposes the recent nomination of union-busting attorney Crystal Carey to serve as the next general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

"As the General President of the Teamsters Union, I've always promised to call balls and strikes, and to be straightforward with our 1.3 million members - on contracts, organizing campaigns, and politics," said Teamsters General President Sean M. Carey is a partner at Morgan Lewis, one of the most notorious union-busting law firms in America. Representing mega-corporations like Amazon and Apple, she spearheaded efforts to gut workers' rights across the country, including by urging the Supreme Court to declare the NLRB unconstitutional.
