Ghost Employees In Nowshera: 33 Doctors, 17 Paramedics Found Drawing Salaries Without Duty

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) An alarming revelation has surfaced in Nowshera, where 33 doctors and 17 paramedics from the Health Department have been found absent from duty while still receiving their salaries.

According to reports, District Health Officer (DHO) Nowshera has issued immediate orders for all absent medical staff to report to duty without delay.

Sources reveal that these doctors and paramedics were posted at Mian Rashid Memorial Hospital, Pabbi, and District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, yet they remained persistently absent from their official duties.

It is further alleged that these absentee employees were enjoying political backing, which had prevented any action against them. However, the District Health Department has now decided to initiate legal proceedings against all absent doctors.
