Jordan Welcomes Diplomatic Efforts To End Russian-Ukrainian War

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Jordan on Thursday welcomed diplomatic efforts to end the Russian-Ukrainian war, particularly the recent phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah described the call as a significant step toward resolving the conflict and strengthening regional and international security, according to a ministry statement.

The official also emphasised the importance of Saudi Arabia's efforts in mediating the crisis, highlighting its role in hosting talks between the U.S. and Russia in Jeddah on Sunday.

He also commended the Kingdom's facilitation of the discussions and reaffirmed Jordan's support for all initiatives aimed at ending the war and promoting international peace and stability.
