Kuwait Amir Receives Phone Call From UAE Pres.

KUWAIT, March 20 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call on Thursday from President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the call, the two leaders discussed the strong and longstanding brotherly relations between the State of Kuwait and the UAE. They also addressed various issues of mutual interest, in addition to regional and international developments.
Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed expressed his sincere wishes for the continued health and well-being of His Highness the Amir and for further growth and prosperity of the State of Kuwait under His Highness the Amir's wise leadership.
In response, His Highness the Amir voiced his appreciation to Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed for the call, which reflects the deep and firm ties between the two nations and their peoples. He also extended his wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates under the wise leadership of Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed. (end)
