Kuwait Urges Protection Of Palestinians From Israeli Occupation's Crimes

CAIRO, March 19 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait on Wednesday called for the protection of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip from the Israeli occupation's continued crimes.
Speaking to KUNA on sidelines an extraordinary meeting of the Arab League Council on the developments in the Palestinian territories, Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the Arab League Ambassador Talal Al-Mutairi emphasized that the international community and the international organizations should assume their responsibilities towards the protection of the Palestinian people.
He also stressed that the mediators of the ceasefire deal have a role to play to end hostilities.
Ambassador Talal recalled that the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry has also issued a statement condemning the blatant Israeli violations and the bombardment of civilians and called on the international community to take action against the Israeli occupation.
He pointed out that Kuwait has spared no effort to offer all political and financial support to the Palestinian people and their rights. (end)
