Doha, Qatar: Qatar Foundation's (QF) Pre-University Education (PUE) organized the 'Nafs & Jamal' program, an educational initiative designed for girls aged 11 to 15. Held every Friday throughout the holy month of Ramadan, the program offered participants a meaningful and enriching experience that blended learning, self-development, and cultural engagement.

The program, hosted at Al-Mujadilah Center and Mosque for Women, a QF member that offers religious, developmental, and social programs for women of all ages and backgrounds, saw enthusiastic participation from young girls. They embarked on a profound educational and spiritual journey, gaining a deeper understanding of human and Islam-based values through an immersive, hands-on approach inspired by Quranic teachings and the Sunnah.

Participants explored the concept of inner and outer beauty through interactive activities, artistic expression, and reflective exercises that deepened their self-awareness. Additionally, they took part in community-driven initiatives that fostered Islamic values and strengthened the spirit of generosity and social responsibility.

The program covered a variety of themes focused on knowledge growth through cultural challenges and interactive activities. Participants also engaged in spiritual practices, including prayer, supplication recitation, and improving their Quranic reading. Additionally, engaging group activities fostered friendships and strengthened the sense of community.

Commenting on the program, Ameena Ahmadi, Program Director at Al-Mujadilah Center and Mosque for Women, said: "We are proud to collaborate with 'Mukhayamna' on the Ramadan program 'Nafs & Jamal.' Passing down knowledge across generations and strengthening community bonds are fundamental to our mission.”

I felt that I was learning and enjoying myself at the same time, making good use of my time instead of just staying at home over the weekend.”
