
Empowering Latinas In STEAM: 44Th Annual National Latina Women's Conference Inspires Future Innovators
LOS ANGELES, March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) hosted the 44th Annual National Latina Women's conference & expo at the San Gabriel Hilton on March 7, bringing together Latina leaders, professionals, and aspiring young women to explore opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

This year's theme, "Tenacidad e Ingenio" (Tenacity & Ingenuity), emphasized the power of perseverance and creativity in shaping the future of Latinas in STEAM fields. The conference featured dynamic workshops, insightful panels, and valuable networking opportunities designed to unlock the potential of the next generation of innovators.

The event welcomed over 400 high school girls, who engaged with industry professionals, gained hands-on experience, and learned about career pathways in STEAM.

- Belissa Escobedo , Actress (Blue Beetle, Happy's Place)
Actress Jessica Marie Garcia (On My Block) served as the host of the Awards Luncheon, celebrating the achievements of these remarkable women.
