Good Results In Securing Artillery Contracts Zelensky

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced positive results in artillery contracting and the delivery of additional shells for Ukraine's Defense Forces.

Zelensky stated this in his evening address , as reported by Ukrinform.

"Defense Minister Umerov reported to me on the fulfillment of tasks related to air defense – missiles for IRIS-T, NASAMS, and SAMP/T. There are good results in securing artillery contracts – additional shells will be provided for our army," Zelensky said.

Umerov also informed Zelensky about the upcoming meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is working on a concrete system of security guarantees.

"This week, a meeting of military representatives took place in France, and a meeting in the UK is being prepared. The first steps toward security guarantees are being taken," he noted.

As reported, the Defense Ministers of Ukraine and the Czech Republic discussed funding for the Czech initiative to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
