Ukraine SOF Destroy Russia's Utyos Radar

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Ukrainian Army's Special Operations Forces have located and destroyed a Russian radar complex“Utyos-Tm”,

That's according to the SOF press service, which posted the video of the attack on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

The Utyos-Tm had been live-tracking Ukrainian warplanes, missiles and drones within a 360 km radius, the report says.

This radar provided data to the Russian air defense on targets moving at altitudes of up to 20 kilometers.

"Its destruction significantly weakened Russian forces' control over the sky, and also reduced the effectiveness of air defense systems," the military said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Special Operations Forces purged Russian positions in Kursk region, eliminating eight enemy troops.
